Description: All the benefits of the sun and no harmful effects. Deep penetration of muscle & joints at 40-degree temperatures lower than regular saunas. No humidity. Pain relief, detoxification, increased circulation, metabolism, healing, cardiovascular health, relaxation and skin beautification.
Details: Contraindication: Pregnancy, MS, Lupus, Advanced Arthritis where joint is immobilized. Addison’s disease. Acute injury to joint or muscles.

Description: Offering meal replacements and smoothies high in specialized absorbable protein and fiber, low in sugar and calories.
Details: Body By Vi products available for consumption at the Nutri-Bar, take out and home use.

Description: Bi-monthly. Thursday Evenings at 7:00 starting January 19th. This forum is also used as an Open House for studio tours. 1st Workshop free of charge. Open House free of charge.

Physiotherapy Program (Employment Benefits)

Description: Clients who do not have a Physiotherapist can access ours through appointment for assessment and program development.
Details: Clients work with our Physio Pilates Instructor for private sessions. Participation is dependent on Physiotherapists recommendations. Clients can access their Employee Benefits.

Semi-Private and Private (30 minutes / 3 credits, 55 minutes / 6 credits)

Description: Multiple fitness options. 1-1 and 2 -1 instruction to focus on specific client interests.

Classes

Cardio-Tramp (30 minutes / 1 credit)cardio tramp

Description: Increases cardio, legs and abdominal strength without impact to the joints. The cardio can be accessed in an Instructed class or independently.
Details/Client Profile: 
Level:  Rehabilitation to Athletic Conditioning.
Prerequisites: Clients must have 2 instructed classes before using the Cardio-Tramp independently.

Guts and Butts (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Provides a cardio experience focused on abdominal and thigh strength and stability. Stability Ball and props.
Details/Client Profile: 
Level:  Essential, Intermediate and Athletic Conditioning.
Prerequisites: Basic core stability.

Osteopilates (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Modified exercise program promoting core and whole body strengthening and flexibility. This class includes chair, standing (supported) and floor work.
Details/Client Profile: Primarily for people who have Osteoporosis, have the ability to stand independently without pain, get up and down from the floor.
Level:  Rehab, Basic and Essential.
Prerequisites: None

Pilates Mat - Basic (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: All classes provide a whole body balanced workout using a variety of props.
Details/Client Profile: Clients new to pilates or want a gentle pilates program.
Level:  Basic

Pilates Mat - Essential (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Whole body balanced workout using a variety of props.
Details/Client Profile: Clients understand the fundamental principles of Pilates.
Level:  Essential.
Prerequisites: None

Pilates Mat - Intermediate (55 minutes / 1 credit)mats

Description: Whole body balanced workout using a variety of props. Intermediate and Advanced pilates exercises as well as faster pace than Essential.
Details/Client Profile: Clients have a strong core and understanding of Pilates principles and exercises responding to verbal cues with little demonstration.
Level:  Intermediate.
Prerequisites: None

Pilates On The Green (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Stott Pilates Golf Conditioning Program. This is a 10 week program that can be taken once or twice a week.
Details/Client Profile: Bring your golf club.
Level:  Beginners to Athletic Conditioning.
Prerequisites: None

Sit and Fit (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Focus: Core, strength, balance and coordination in all ranges of motion. A modified pilates program from a seated or supported standing position.
Details/Client Profile: Anyone who uses a walking aid, has recently been released from rehab, balance issues are severe, chronic pain and difficulties walking. Referrals to participate in a modified fitness program.
Level:  Basic.
Prerequisites: None

Strength and Balance (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Gentle cardio, functional balance, core, joint and large muscle strengthening.
Details/Client Profile: Clients who are looking for a gentle cardio class.
Level:  Basic/Essential.
Prerequisites: None

Tai Chi (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Establishes flexibility, freedom of movement and grace in a gentle but flowing experience. Promotes coordination, balance and strength.
Details/Client Profile: This class is adaptable for all levels of physical ability.
Level:  Rehabilitation to Athletic Conditioning.
Prerequisites: None

V2Max Reformer - Basic (55 minutes / 2 credits)v2max

Description: Pilates Machine offering unparalleled functionality, full body range of movement, multi-faceted and cutting edge Pilates programming.
Details/Client Profile: Clients new to the reformer. Clients with knee, hip, back and neck issues, osteoporosis and/or Arthritis.
Level:  Essential, Intermediate and Athletic Conditioning.
Prerequisites: None

V2Max Reformer - Essential (55 minutes / 2 credits)

Description: Pilates machine offering resistance and strength training.
Details/Client Profile: 
Level:  Essential.
Prerequisites: Clients have participated in 4 to 5 Basic classes and have demonstrated core stability.

V2Max Reformer - Intermediate (55 minutes / 2 credits)

Description: Intermediate and Advanced pilates exercises. Faster pace than Essential.
Details/Client Profile: Intermediate clients have a strong core and understanding of Pilates exercises responding to verbal cues with little demonstration.
Level:  Intermediate.

V2Max Reformer - Athletic Conditioning (55 minutes / 2 credits)

Description: Intermediate and advanced exercises. Faster pace than Intermediate with more advanced work than Intermediate.
Details/Client Profile: Athletic Conditioning clients use this class to cross train with their chosen alternative fitness option.
Level:  Intermediate.
Prerequisites: None

Whole Body Vibration (30 minutes / 3 credit)vibrator

Description: One hour of results in 15 minutes! Gentle, high frequency vibrations contracting and relaxing muscles 20 – 50 times per second. Improved circulation, posture, metabolism, range of motion, cellulite reduction, bone density, detoxification, strength, balance and flexibility.
Details/Client Profile: Contraindications: Pregnancy, Thrombosis, Recent Joint replacements, recent wounds or surgery, Kidney stones, Cancer, Pacemakers, Gall stones, Cardio-vascular disease, Acute disc Herniation.
Level:  Basic to Athletic Conditioning.

Yoga (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Focus on flexibility, strength and agility, stress relief, lengthening muscles and moving freely through joints.
Details/Client Profile: Modifications provided as needed.

Zumba (55 minutes / 1 credit)

Description: Latin music, laughter and calorie burning. Less emphasis on dance technique and more on having fun.
